Garden Design Process

Initial Consultation Meeting:

Free of charge, this is an opportunity to meet one another and discuss your requirements, the garden's opportunities and constraints.

Design Service Quotation:

Free of charge, we will issue a quotation for the level of design service you require. We will also compile a written design brief for us to agree on.

Site Survey and Sketch Proposals:

If you decide to proceed, a detailed survey of your garden will be carried out and a scaled base plan will be produced. We will discuss your requirements in more depth and produce 3D sketch design drawings. We will often also provide you with images and/or samples to further help you envisage the space and understand the materials proposed.

Outline Cost Estimate:

At this stage we can provide you with an cost estimate for the construction works. This will help you to make choices about the design according to your budget.

Detailed Masterplan:

This drawing is fully annotated detailing the layout of all features such as paving, water features, paths and pergolas. Materials will be specified on this drawing along with a full planting plan and schedule showing species, locations, sizes and quantities. Construction details and working drawings can be provided on request.

Construction Quotation:

At this stage we can provide you with a fixed quotation to carry out the construction of your garden.

Sourcing:

We can also offer a sourcing service to supply the perfect furniture and accessories to complete your project.

Lighting:

We specialise in effective garden lighting. We can provide you with a free lighting design service and a quotation for supply and installation.
